Gratitude – day #2

Today I am grateful for…

Fresh air and vitamin D.

Girly chats over coffee.

Living in Adelaide.

Spending the weekend with a best friend. Keeping her company (and sane!) whilst her hubby was away and she was home with the kids. Movies, conversations over wine and unspoken support. Always.

The Lion King. Makes me cry every single time. Fave kids movie ever.

Homemade margaritas. With lots of salt.

The innocence and purity of children.

A new gifted hoodie.

Couch time and cuddles with Lola. Her floppy ears, her squooshy nose and soft lips. The sound of her snoring as she lay across me, head resting in my lap. Love her so damn much.

Pancakes with lemon and sugar.

The forgiveness, love, gratitude and care you can have for someone, even though things don’t go as planned. Being grateful for the time shared, the lessons learned and for being amicable and generous despite the hurt that may still be there.

A good book to calm the mind and an anxious soul during pms.
